While running his
Promotions and Marketing Company, Goffy had always had the ambition of
becoming a Radio Broadcaster himself. He got his first opportunity live
on the air at Century Radio when they launched in September 1994, at
first presenting the overnight show ("Graveyard Shift" !) He then went on to present almost every shift on the schedule (making up for lost time!), under the vastly experienced team of John Myers (Managing Director) and John Simons (Programme Director) |

But within a
couple of years Paul had worked his way up to presenting the
peak-time Breakfast Show - branded as "Goffy In The Morning".
Paul had the pleasure of interviewing and working alongside some of the biggest names in showbiz and sport - including Ant and Dec, Alan Shearer, Simon Cowell, Lionel Richie, Cheryl Tweedy, Frank Skinner, Victoria Beckham, Johnathan Ross, Ronan Keating, and the incomparable Paul "Gazza" Gascoigne. |

He presented lots of exciting Promotions, giving away thousands of
pounds worth of great prizes. He went to the USA to present a
week of Goffy in the Morning live from The Stardust Hotel in Las
Vegas, and even from the top of the Grand Canyon. |

He can also lay
claim to the unique achievement of knocking The Beatles off the
number one spot - with a CD compilation of some memorable moments
from his shows outselling the legendary John, Paul, George and Ringo. After 10 years at Century, Paul was eventually poached by rival radio group EMAP, to work on both Metro Radio and TFM. Away from the studio, Goffy has hosted major sell-out concerts, sportsman’s dinners and event launches using his unique personality to engage whatever audience is placed before him. |
